Tea Essentials

A list of items which feature as part of every tea. The rest is up to you

  • 40 Tea bags
  • Sugar
  • 2 -4 litre bottle of skimmed milk (green top)
  • 4 bin liners (those providing tea need to dispose of the rubbish)
  • Large bottle of squash (any flavour)
  • Kitchen roll or napkins
  • Washing up liquid

    • Optional

  • Washing up gloves
  • Washing sponge
  • Paper platers, bowls, cups etc. (this can save on a mountain of washing up)

    • Example of a general cricket tea

    Sandwiches (meat and vegatarian options), pastries, pizza slices, crisps, fruit and or veggies, plus cake (plenty of cake)
    Feel free to get creative, you can put as much or as little effort in as you see fit

    Nacton teas are generally pretty competitive on the circuit and stand up against the offerings from our cricket club rivals.

    The allowance for teas is £40 and can be claimed back or donated to the club. The person in charge of the tea is responsile of disposing of the waste post-match.

    If for whatever reason a tea cannot be provided, the responsibility of the tea falls on the match day captain

    The following dates have been arranged for the tea rota. If you need to rearrange your date please contact Ben Connelly at least two weeks prior, so that alternative arrangements can be made.
